OzEpulse is a grain trading company based in Sydney, Australia. OzEpulse specialises in the export of durum, wheat, barley, oil seeds, and pulses to a range of destinations, including the Indian sub-continent, China, Europe, North Africa, Asia and the Middle East. OzEpulse also specialises in Third Country trades.
Over the years, OzEpulse has developed and maintained extensive business relationships encompassing growers, merchants, processors, packing plants, overseas buyers and importers. OzEpulse has been able to meet the stringent requirements to obtain a Wheat Exports Australia (WEA) license as a bulk wheat exporter. This allows OzEpulse to supply the international market with high quality Australian wheat in bulk shipments. OzEpulse also has the capacity to supply the global market with bulk parcels of chickpeas and various types of feed grain.
OzEpulse Pty Ltd ranks amongst the leading exporters and traders of agro commodities in Australia. The leading position of OzEpulse in the export industry has been recognised by winning the 2008 Premier's NSW Export Award (Australian Institute of Export) for Agribusiness. OzEpulse was also a National Finalist in the 2008 Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Agribusiness Award and a finalist in the 2008 NSW Business Chamber Excellence in Export Award. Tamworth Container Packing Pty Ltd (TCP)
OzEpulse operates a grain packing plant (TCP) as a joint venture with the AMPS Group at Tamworth, NSW. AMPS is a farmer owned agribusiness company based in the Liverpool Plains of Northern NSW with interest in rural merchandising, agricultural research, grain storage and handling, marketing and value adding of agricultural commodities.
TCP is an industry leader in the packing of agricultural commodities into shipping containers for loading onto rail for forward moving onto shipping port facilities for export. Through TCP, OzEpulse can provide growers with direct access to the growing containerised export market not previously available on the Liverpool Plains.
OzEpulse and the AMPS Group have recently redeveloped the Tamworth Container Packing site including the resurfacing of an approximately three acre sealed and fenced yard. The redevelopment also saw the installation of state of the art grain handling equipment utilising horizontal loading and a conveyor thus minimising grain splits by avoiding the use of augers. This renovation has seen TCP maintain its position at the forefront of the grain export industry. This facility will continue to serve OzEpulse as a means to achieve a competitive advantage in the grain trade, ultimately increasing grower return and allowing OzEpulse to offer attractive global prices.
